Who We Are

Treasure Me is an AI-powered wardrobe and jewellery management app for iPhone, developed and operated by Camilla Sadyrova, located at 50 Garden St, Alexandria NSW 2015, Australia.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you use the Treasure Me app ("the App"), how it is used, and your rights in relation to it. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Section 2

What Data Treasure Me Collects and Why

2.1 Clothing and Wardrobe Item Data

Specific to Treasure Me: When you photograph a clothing item, the image is uploaded to our secure cloud storage (Supabase Storage). We also store the AI-generated metadata for that item: category, colour, style, season, occasion tags, brand (if visible), and any notes you add manually. We store your joy ratings (1–5 scale), wear-log entries with dates, and storage location assignments. This data is linked to your user account.

This data is necessary to provide the core wardrobe-management features of the App: browsing your closet, building outfits, and generating insights.

2.2 Outfit Data

Specific to Treasure Me: When you create or save an outfit on the Outfit Canvas, we store the outfit composition (which items are included and in which position), the outfit name, and any wear-log entries linked to that outfit. This data lives in your account on our backend.

2.3 Account Information

To use Treasure Me you create an account using an email address and password. Your email address and a unique user ID are stored with Supabase (our authentication provider). We do not use your email for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

2.4 Purchase and Subscription Information

Subscription status, purchase history, and entitlement data are managed by RevenueCat. Treasure Me never directly handles or stores payment card information. All billing is processed by Apple through the App Store.

2.5 Colour Season Profile

Specific to Treasure Me: If you use the Colour Analysis feature, your derived colour season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter) is saved to your profile. This is inferred from the colours of items in your closet and is stored server-side linked to your account. No biometric data is collected; the analysis is based solely on your uploaded clothing images.

Image Uploads and AI Processing

Specific to Treasure Me: This section is the most important for understanding how your photo data is handled.

3.1 What happens when you photograph an item

When you upload a photo of a clothing item or jewellery piece, the following processing occurs:

  1. The image is optionally background-removed on your device using Apple's Vision Framework (no data leaves your phone for this step).
  2. The processed image is uploaded to Supabase Storage, a secure cloud storage service. Your images are stored under your user ID and are not publicly accessible without an authenticated URL.
  3. The image is sent to one or more AI vision models via OpenRouter (an AI model routing service) for automatic tagging — identifying category, colour, style, season, and occasions. Models used include Qwen 2.5 VL, Meta Llama 3.2 Vision, and Google Gemini 2.0 Flash.
  4. For jewellery items (including when using the Vault or the Move to Vault feature), AI also identifies metal type, stone type, brand, and estimated era.

Your images are transmitted to OpenRouter's API solely for the purpose of generating item tags. We do not permit OpenRouter to use your images for training their models. Please review OpenRouter's Privacy Policy at openrouter.ai/privacy for further detail on their data handling.

3.2 GoodBuy Check

Specific to Treasure Me: When you use the GoodBuy Check feature, you take a photo of a potential new purchase. That image is temporarily sent to our backend and to the AI vision service to compare against your existing wardrobe. The GoodBuy image is not permanently stored — it is discarded after the comparison result is returned to your device.

3.3 Background removal

Background removal is performed locally on your device using Apple's Vision Framework (iOS 17+). No image data is transmitted for this step. If your device does not support local background removal, the image is sent to our own backend server (hosted on Railway) for processing using an open-source model — it is not sent to any third-party AI provider for this step.

Section 4

Jewellery Vault Data

Specific to Treasure Me: The Vault is a dedicated section for fine jewellery and heirlooms. Data stored in the Vault includes: item name, metal type, stone type, brand, provenance notes, condition notes, date acquired, purchase price (what you paid), and estimated current value. This financial valuation data is stored server-side in your account and is never shared with or sold to third parties, including insurers or financial institutions.

Valuation figures you enter are for your personal reference only. Treasure Me does not provide financial, insurance, or appraisal advice. The estimated values shown (if AI-derived) are approximate and should not be used for insurance or resale purposes without independent professional verification.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your wardrobe data, jewellery data, outfit records, wear logs, and uploaded images are retained for as long as your account exists.

Specific to Treasure Me: To delete your account and all associated data — including all uploaded clothing and jewellery images stored in Supabase Storage, all item records, outfit records, and your colour season profile — go to Settings → Delete Account within the App. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Backup your data before deleting.

GoodBuy Check images are never stored — they are discarded immediately after the comparison result is returned.

After account deletion, anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g. total number of items ever uploaded, not linked to you) may be retained for internal analytics purposes.

Section 8

Security

Treasure Me takes the security of your data seriously. We use the following measures:

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we maintain commercially reasonable safeguards.

Section 9

Children's Privacy

Treasure Me is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address in Section 12 and we will delete it promptly.

Users between 13 and 17 years of age should use the App only with parental or guardian consent.

Your Rights (EEA / UK / California)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights regarding your personal data:

The legal basis for processing your data is contract performance (to deliver the App's features), legitimate interest (to maintain and improve the service), and consent where applicable.

Section 11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes — particularly changes to how images or jewellery data are processed — we will notify you via a notice in the App before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
